Join Fellow Canadians for a celebration of Canada Day at The Redondo Beach Café.

The Canadian Owned restaurant is proud to announce today that it will be hosting their 4th annual Canada Day Celebration. Join other Canadians for festive events leading up to Canada Day.

Wednesday ( July 1^st ), KTLA channel 5’s Morning Show will be at the Redondo Beach Cafe so come down and join us to show our Canadian spirit or tune in and watch Canada Day be shared throughout Southern California.

Events include showing live feed of the Canada Day Parade followed by the Toronto Blue Jays game that starts at 10:00 am and broadcasted events throughout Canada all day. Of course we will be serving our Canadian menu and the Canadian sweets mentioned above.

Alumni from the Los Angeles Kings will be at attendance at 8:30 am and will be contributing to the festivities.

Our HD big screens will then show the kick-off of the Canadian Football League’s (CFL) 2009 season with a double header; Toronto Argonauts vs. Hamilton Tiger Cats at 4:00 pm followed by the Calgary Stampeders (defending Grey Cup Champions) vs. Montreal Allouettes at 7:00 pm  games will be shown from a live TSN HD feed.

The festive weekend celebration will kick off with live coverage of the NHL 2009 Draft Watch in HD from the TSN feed on Friday June 26^th starting at 4:00 pm.
